The failure of the Cosmological argumentI havenīt written anything in a while, so I decided to write this both as a mental exercise and because my watchers are probably wondering if Iīm still alive :). But it’s also something important I want to give my thoughts on.

We’ve all heard of the cosmological argument, one of, if not the, most common arguments for the existence of a god. For those who don’t know, this is how the argument goes:

1. Every finite and contingent being has a cause.
2. A causal loop cannot exist.
3. A causal chain cannot be of infinite length.
4. Therefore, a First Cause (or something that is not an effect) must exist.

The first problem lies
Up and Down    Do you ever wonder why ‘up’ is up and ‘down’ is down? Who ever decided which way it up and which way is down? If up is always in the direction your head is in then, when you stand on your head, had down become up?
    If that is the case then one must also wonder about  what we consider left and right. Left is always to the left of up, right? So now, say you are on your head, then right is to the left of up and left is now to the right of up. It is like directions no longer have any meaning.
    Let’s go back to considering the conundrum of ‘up’ and ‘down’. Say you were to point up, then to someone in Australia you would be pointing down. Latched onto that thought is this, if the earth were perfectly clear and you looked down to see a person on the other side of the planet, wouldn’t you also be looking up at them? Too many of us think that God's grace is a shield that indemnifies us against the consequences of our sins.
God's ability to forgive is infinite, however grace is not a shield.
Grace is a bone saw.

Grace is a spiritual amputation of a piece of your soul infected by the gangrene of iniquity.
God's ability to forgive is infinite, however is the individual's ability to receive grace likewise infinite? How many graces can a person receive before the soul-body ceases to function?

Disconnected from Humans     I feel disconnected from human society. It's as if ages have passed and yet the grains of sand tick away at the pace of the typical clock. Simple Rules for Brainwashing

1. Repetition. If you repeat something enough, and with enough emotion and empty rhetoric, people will believe virtually anything.
2. Get the brainwashee while they are young and control their education. If you are the only one teaching them, you can control what they believe.
3. No reading. Teaching the brainwashee to read will only encourage him or her to start looking into new information. New information that may contradict what you want them to believe.
4. Let them believe they have power. Pick a weak one of them that you can easily control and manipulate. Puppets are the easiest way to gain trust.
5. Distraction is a key word here. Get their minds off the issues and onto entertainment. If they persist in politics or ruling or laws, set up an unimportant issue and let them debate about that while you keep deciding the real laws.
6. Tell stories about other people being brainwashed. That will make them think that they are aware of the idea and since they are aware of it, it can't happen to them. If they do start asking, though, cease immediately and distract.
7. Appeal to emotion by entertainment. Music is a huge deal here. Virtually every emotion can be controlled by a few notes.
8. YOU are the puppet master. Only YOU. Learn that now. There can only be one person pulling the strings.
9. Any signs of rebellion must be eliminated immediately. First by beatings, and only if the rebellion continues by execution. NO banishment. Banishment will only allow word of the brainwashing to leak out into the general public and that may pose a problem.
10. Have no sympathy. Sympathy will make squashing a rebellion very difficult.
